Guyana beat Windwards
Windsor Park, Roseau, March 23, 2015 -Windward Islands Volcanoes lost to Guyana Jaguars by an innings and ten runs in the WICB Professional Cricket League Regional 4-Day Tournament today at Windsor Park here in Dominica.
Windwards needed 31 more to avoid an innings defeat when play began this morning but before lunch they had lost their four remaining wickets for the addition of just 21 runs in hot and bright conditions in Roseau, Dominica's capital.
Dominican Tyrone Theophile who scored 58 in the first innings was also the top scorer in the second innings with 47. The Windwards again capitulated to the spin of former West Indies spinner Devendra Bishoo with 4 for 38 to add to his 6 for 74 in the first innings.
Scores in the match: Volcanoes - 283 all out and 134 all out; Jaguars- 427 all out.
Result: Jaguars won by an innings and 10 runs.
