In the midst of COVID-19, the front liners are deserving of praise

Roseau, Dominica – The National Bank of Dominica Ltd. (NBD) supports nurses and other frontline health care workers, as well as support staff working behind the scenes, in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

In an effort to show support and appreciation, the Bank provided snacks and lunch for the Testing and Vaccination Team at the National Stadium, Dr. Ahmed's Office, Covid-19 Hotline, Home Isolation Team, and Dominica-China Friendship Hospital Lab on Friday, September 24th, 2021. The workers were quite pleased to have received the kind gesture from NBD.

According to Executive Manager for Marketing, Suzanne Piper, "NBD is sincerely inspired by the lifesaving efforts and personal sacrifices of the frontline workers, despite the heightened medical risk."

The Bank expressed gratitude to all the medical frontliners during this difficult time and extended thank you to all medical workers at every level for the work they are doing collectively to curb the spread of Covid-19. This is one of a series of activities planned by the Bank to express appreciation to frontline workers.
