Wadix plans Sweet Mother's Day Kaiso Punch and Party

The third annual Sweet Mother's Day Kaiso Punch and Party is carded for May 13 Mother's Day at the STRIP Lalay Coco from 6.00pm to midnight.

In the past very little was done on Mother's Day itself except special lunch dates, thus the need to celebrate with the most beautiful woman in the world in a classy and fun filled atmosphere.

This year will be extra special as it's the first Mother's Day after the catastrophic Hurricane Maria.

Women more than even need to ventilate, de-stress and to be pampered.

So, I, Leroy Wadix Charles, the promoter of the annual event, has put together a line up of two of the most versatile bands from the Nature Isle.

We have Swingin' Stars with over five decades of hypnotic and nostalgic musical accompaniment; alongside them is the First Serenade with over three decades of dynamic and sensational dancing magnetism.

Witness the clash of the two brass bands: Swinging Stars with the most formidable front team in Dominica's music featuring Daddy Chess, Phillip Horsford, Tasha P and Stephen and the First Serenade with energetic Lloudy and Alisha make them an obvious musical powerhouse.

Bobb, the 2018 Calypso monarch will serenade the mother's in an official capacity and 2018 Road March monarchs Haxey and Lougas will enhance the celebrations. Veterans Picky and Dyno will make up the star-studied Calypso component of the event. The DJ's creole music masters Mr. Mixx and Prince Wadix alongside Matt in the Morning.

Entrance is only $20.00 and tickets are available at Bull's eye, Depex , Small Axe mobile, Miss Bay in Grand bay and Skeeter in the market.

A complimentary punch will be offered on entrance and prizes for the best dress and oldest mother.

Also food hampers, phone chargers, phone credit will be among the prizes for patrons.
